Meet Dr. Bharathi Charugundla, DMD
Helping people out of pain, and restoring oral health and smiles, are the most rewarding experiences; as a dentist, I am fortunate to touch so many lives, helping each person improve their dental health and overall wellbeing.
For the last 15 years, I have had the opportunity to serve many people in our community. I appreciate meeting individuals of all ages and from all walks of life, and building real connections with each. Our conversations open my eyes to the world, making me a better practitioner and person.
As a dentist, it is an honor to be entrusted with a person’s smile, and I am resolved to deliver the perfect dental solution for each person’s specific needs. Whether that’s beautifying a smile, relieving pain, restoring function, or offering encouragement and insight to develop stronger home dental hygiene, I tailor care to that person’s situation.

Education, Experience And Professional Activities
Dr. Bharathi Charugundia attended Boston University, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. The program was rigorous and challenging, and provided a solid foundational understanding of modern dentistry.
However, dentistry, like all healthcare fields, is constantly evolving. Ongoing research yields new materials, modalities, and technologies, all of which affect diagnostics, treatment planning, and results. It is essential for dentists to stay current on these new options, studying and evaluating each before incorporating them into their practice.
Throughout the year, Dr. Bharathi pursues a range of continuing dental education opportunities, and stays up to date on the latest technologies and procedures. She participates in study groups and webinars, completes hands-on courses, and keeps current with the latest research through journals and other relevant publications.

Beyond the Dental Practice
A native of India, Dr. Bharathi now considers the Pacific Northwest her home. She’s happily married and has two young sons who keep her busy most every minute she’s not in the office. The family enjoys hiking, traveling, and reading together.
In addition to enjoying adventures with her family, Dr. Bharathi devotes time to volunteering at charitable events and with local organizations. She is particularly passionate about helping the poor and needy and works hard to fight homelessness and hunger in the community.
